Trainings in High-Tech / End Technologies


Skill Development trainings of 50,000 youth in High Tech. technologies like; Advanced Electronics, 3D Printing, Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, Block-chain, Intelligent Vehicles, Robotics and Mechatronics will enable us to capture due share of workforce in international job market.

Skill Development for less developed areas


This component targets to equip 50,000 youth of less-developed areas (Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, districts ofall provinces) with hands-on skills in conventional sectors like; Construction, hospitality, Manufacturing, Textile and domestic skills for women.

National Employment Exchange


NAVTTC in collaboration with Prime Minister Office, is going to launch an integrated, centralized and consolidated National Employment System. National Youth Employment Exchange (NYEX) is a technology based platform that enables integration and alignment of demand and supply.

75 Smart Tech Labs for Distance Learning


Distance learning and e-learning is becoming increasing popular in the sector due to the introduction of simulators and on-line technical courses etc. For Pakistan to keep pace with these emerging trends in the TVET sector, these modern practices are needed to be adequately replicated.

Incubation Centers in TVET Center


NAVTTC to initiate Business Incubation Centers, in support of Prime Minister’s Startup Pakistan movement. BIC by National Vocational Technical Training Commission is based on the Higher Education Commission’s program of Blended Incubation along the similar lines.

Establishing National Accreditation Council


The National Accreditation Council for Technical and Vocational Stream Regulations‟ were framed and notified in 2015. However the Council is yet to be established. Once created, the Council shall be recognized as the sole authorized entity in the country.

Accreditation of 2,000 TVET Institutes


There are approximately 3700 institutes catering to the technical & vocational training needs of Pakistani youth. NAVTTC has so far accredited around 260 institutes. In order to upscale, GoP funding and patronage would be needed to ensure at that at least 500 institutes are accredited annually.

70 Labs/Workshops in Madrassa(s)


Mainstreaming of the Madrassa students is a high priority with the government and TVET provide the most effective instrument for this objective. Under this project NAVTTC targets to establish 70 Workshops / labs for Skills, Counseling etc, in around 70 madrassa(s) across Pakistan

Master Training of TVET Teachers


This project aims at bringing Master Trainers from technologically advanced countries and get our TVET Trainers / Teachers technologically trained under a cascading model through these Master Trainers.These local Trainers will acquire knowledge about the latest technologies.

Development of 200 TVET Qualifications


Pakistani TVET qualifications lack international recognition which is compromising the prospects of employment of skilled workers, not only in the international job market, but also in the domestic market where many of the local employers look for skills of international standards.

Apprenticeship Training of 25,000 Youth


Apprenticeship is a system of training in which an employer undertakes to employ a person and to train him systematically in an apprentice-able trade or occupation for a period fixed in advance and in the course of which the apprentice is bound to work in the employer’s service.

Intl. Accreditation and Joint Degree Programs


Pakistani TVET qualifications lack international recognition which is compromising the prospects of employment of skilled workers, not only in the international job market, but also in the domestic market where many of the local employers look for skills of international standards

10 Country Specific Facilitation Centers


In accordance with current government vision of maximizing employment opportunities for Pakistani skilled manpower, NAVTTC to establish country of destination specific TVET institutes across Pakistan with high out flux of Pakistanis in the international market workers abroad in GCC countries etc.

Recognition of Prior Learning of Youth


Under project of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), 50,000 youth who already have skills in any vocation/sector will be certified and NAVTTC will test/examine the skills of such individuals who claim to have requisite competencies/skills required but lack certificate to find suitable jobs.
